Philippe Rahm
Philippe Rahm (born 1967) Dipl. EPFL - Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne - Switzerland 1993 is a principal architect in the office of Philippe Rahm architectes, based in Paris, France. His work, which extends the field of architecture from the physiological scale of the body to the climatic scale of the city has received an international audience in the context of sustainability.[1]
Biography
In 2002, Rahm was chosen to represent Switzerland at the 8th Architectural Venice Biennale[2] in Italy. He was also one of twenty international architects selected for the 2008 Venice Biennale, which was curated by Aaron Betsky.
He has participated in a number of exhibitions worldwide, including (Archilab, Orléans, France 2000; SF-MoMA 2001; CCA Kitakyushu 2004; Centre Pompidou, Paris, 2003–2006 and 2007; Manifesta 7, 2008; Louisiana museum, Denmark, 2009; Guggenheim Museum,[3] New-York 2010).
